Hi there my name is Joseph Matheson, I'm a 20 year old artist who works with Illustration and Animation. I have a love for traditional animation and character design as well as an interest for storyboarding, cover design and prop/background designing.
I started drawing at a very young age, filling any free time with arts and crafts. As I got older, my drawings got better, usually filling both my and friends school books with random drawings and ideas. Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to work with Hunter Water, my school St Phillips Christian College, Helen Hopcroft and some amazing people at my University throughout my degree.​
My hobbies other then art includes music, filming, ancient history, swimming and taking long walks through bushland or the beach.
Currently, I am working on a couple of projects with friends and colleges, playing around with show pitches, stop go animations and designing a games. I hope to further my Art career through the years with more industry and personal jobs.
